Oilers re-sign forward Anton Krysanov

Edmonton Oilers News (January 3rd 2011) "Oilers re-sign forward Krysanov"

Edmonton has penned 23 year old Russian centreman Anton Krysanov to a two-year extension on his current deal, which was due to expire this summer. Krysanov came over from the Phoenix Coyotes in a deal involving defenseman Matt Lashoff earlier this season. The Russian has scored 1 goal and 3 assists in 10 games since the trade, collecting 4 PIM and a +2 in that time. The cap hit of the deal will be .575M per season.

"We're thrilled to have tied Krysanov to our club for an additional two years. He has done quite well since coming over and we hope he can develop even more with more NHL time and the right line mates" commented GM Kowalski on the deal.
