Oilers make roster moves

Edmonton has sent down Swedish forward Anton Axelsson to the Springfield Falcons. Axelsson has 3 goals and 7 assists in 38 games this season, mainly from the 3rd line - playing alongside Greg Moore and Anton Krysanov or Ryan Stone. Axelsson is a pending free agent, and has not received a qualifying offer so far.

The Oilers have called up two players, forwards Gilbert Brule (5g 2a 7pts -1 in 23 NHL games this season) and Ryan O'Marra (2g 1a 3pts -1 in 14 NHL games this season). While Brule has 1 1/2 years left on his contract, O'Marra is a free agent this summer and has not received a qualifying offer.
